On Tuesday, my friend Sophie and I decided to go for a walk because we don’t get much outdoor time during the semester, and it was a warm(ish) evening. She was lovely enough to show me around the parks around the Yarra River and the Botanical Gardens although we decided to leave the latter for another day. There’s a really cool performing arts venue here called the Sidney Meyer Music Bowl that sits into the landscape, giving it a cosy feel and I’m guessing the right acoustics for gigs.
